At one of the highlights of summer in southeast Michigan, events at this summer fest are sure to be fun for the whole family.

Limber up for the party with yoga and Zumba Friday morning, Cross Fit Saturday morning and Yoga Flow (participants must bring a mat for this session) Sunday morning.

Peruse the booths of more than 300 artists from all over the nation and Canada who will showcase their wares up and down the streets of Milford.

Don’t miss out on oodles of competitive rivalry – including the 5K, 10K and one-mile fun run, the blind canoe race, cold butt euchre, hot pepper eating contest, fishing tournament and more.

For the kiddos, there’s a rock-climbing wall to best, a kids fishing tournament and a teen activity tent at Leo’s Coney Island – featuring a hula hoop contest, a dance competition and a glow dancing suit in the street after dusk.

For the older gents and ladies, the beer tent will hop with cold beer, live music and good friends all weekend long.

Other fun activities include charity softball games between The Fallen and Wounded Soldiers of Michigan and local ex-pro athletes, youth sand volleyball, the 3-on-3 basketball tournament and more.

More than 20 musical groups will provide awesome tunes, both days, at three distinct locations – the Veterans Memorial Stage, the Center Street Gazebo and the Central Park Beer Tent.

Get out of the house and join Milford’s biggest summer party! Festival hours are as follows:

  • Friday-Saturday: 10 a.m.-midnight
  • Sunday: 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

The event is free, but admission to the beer tent is $4 after 6 p.m. and tournaments and games have particular fees both days.
